CLUB MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT: MAY IS RUN MONTH!

We are starting a SWIM…BIKE…RUN series of meetings (not in that order) to saturate you with as much info as we can to help you Tri harder to meet your goals. This month is RUN MONTH, so it’s all about the run! Here is what we have in store for you aside from the monthly club biz:

LANCE from SOLE SPORTS is going to be our main speaker, and he will talk about the latest advances in running shoe technology…plus May is Sole Sport’s sponsor focus month, so we will hear a little about the store and the services they provide as well. May is also Bob Trent PLC’s sponsor focus month, so Bob will overview the real estate services he provides, including special discounts for members.

Then we have the RUN FAIR…three additional guest speakers will talk to groups for 15 minutes each, with the groups rotating around to all 3 stations to hear each topic in succession. Topics include Racing Strategy with Linda Hurley, Running Economy with Steve Kaye, and Kinesio Taping for Runners with yours truly (sorry, I couldn’t resist) and co-lead by Caleb, an athletic trainer from Arrowhead PT. All of this will be followed by a short 5K (or shorter) Night Fun Run after the meeting, and we will have a cool, healthy treat for you when you finish. Plus there may be some other surprises (including some new First Wave merchandise), you never know, so make sure to be there to avoid missing-out!
